Volunteer Opportunities - Self-Check Monitor: Assist patrons with checking-out of books using libraries self check out machines
- Clerical: Type library card envelopes, folding library brochures and assist circulation staff with other clerical duties
- Dewey Eyes: Few things are as frustrating for Library members as not finding that book, DVD or magazine where it's supposed to be. We need shelf readers and material "shelvers" to make sure the item is placed in its proper Dewey Decimal number location. This is the ideal job for those who love structure and order
- Youth Programs: Assist with setup and preparation for children's and young adult programs. Help during program, and clean up
- Technophile: Assist patrons with basic computer questions. Assist with creating personal email account, basic internet searches, online applications and printing and saving documents
- Genealogy: Assist in the libraries California Room. Ability to do basic research, use computers, finding newspaper articles, use microfilm reader and copy machines.......and many other jobs
