Government Code Section 54970 requires that on or before December 31st of each year, the City Council prepare a list of appointments of all ongoing boards, commissions and committees which are appointed by the City Council. This list includes which terms will expire during the next calendar year with the name of the incumbent appointee, the date of appointment, the date the term expires, and the necessary qualifications for the position.
The City Clerk's Office maintains the roster of all boards, commissions, and committees and whenever an unscheduled vacancy occurs on one of the boards, commissions, or committees due to resignation, death termination or other reason, the City Clerk's Office posts a notice of the vacancy on this web page.
