Local Author Day at Feldheym Central Library

The San Bernardino Public Library and the San Bernardino Writers’ Group are hosting a local author event and free workshops on Saturday, April 28, 2018.

Authors from throughout the Inland Empire will be at the event to sell and sign their books at the Norman F. Feldheym Central Library, 555 w. 6TH St. in San Bernardino from 1:00 to 5:30 PM. This is a good opportunity to meet authors who represent many genres, including fiction, non-fiction, science fiction, fantasy, poetry, children’s books, young adult books, local history, and mystery.

Over 40 authors, poets, and cartoonists have confirmed their participation, including: Doris Anderson, Elaine Ash, A.J. Avila, David Brown, Rolin Bruno, Mary Burkin, Tina M. Carter, Christina Chatterton, Micah Chatterton, Lynette Davis, Theresa Elders, Carlene Field Griffith, Ellen Francisco, Maggie Grinnell, Alice Hall, Mia Hopkins, Gerald Jones, Loralie Kay, Leila Kirkconnell, Robert Kirkconnell, Angie Martin, Greg Martin, Debbie McQueen, Greg McWhorter, Dr. Dawn Menge, Barbara Parish, Elizabeth Pye, Gina Rider, J.R. The San Bernardino Writers’ Group will be offering four free workshops during this event: Author and master researcher Christine Chatterton will share her deep research techniques.  She finds those fascinating stories no one else can. Award-winning best-selling author Angie Martin will share genre and character development. Potential authors will hit the ground running! M. L. Spencer will share how she became an Amazon number-one best-selling author. She will talk about Internet marketing and more! Elaine Ash is an author, book editor, and the inventor of the Bestseller Metrics editing system for novelists. She will share how she pitches manuscripts to editors and publishers.
