The San Bernardino Public Library will host poetry artist Joyce Clarke, founder of Poetry With A Purpose, in recognition of National Poetry Month and National Library Week in April. These free programs will take place at all four of the City’s libraries.

Clarke will engage youngsters ages 3 - 13 with stories that rhyme, recite familiar and new poems, and play poetry games in fun competition. Kids also get to perform and act out poems.
Poetry With A Purpose uses library books to encourage and integrate a love of reading and creative expression in children, as well as give them a reason to visit their library over and over again.
