The Tuesday hours for the Feldheym Central Library in San Bernardino will change effective Tuesday, September 3, 2019 after approval by the San Bernardino Public Library Board of Trustees. The Feldheym Library (555 W. 6th St.) will be open for all library services on Tuesdays from 12 noon to 8 pm, allowing patrons to utilize our services later in the evening.
The library is planning a variety of special events during our Tuesday evening hours, including the Manhattan Short Film Festival, Newbery Award-winning author Kwame Alexander, History of Blues in America concert, and a performance of A Christmas Carol. The regularly scheduled Tuesday evening activities will include Family Book Bingo, Virtual Reality night, Arts & Crafts, Scrabble Club, Adult/Teen Coloring Club, and a Crochet Club. Feldheym library’s service hours for the rest of the week will not change. We will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm and on Saturday from 1 pm to 6 pm. We are closed Friday and Sunday.
Other library hours of operation include:
Rowe (108 E. Marshall) and Villaseñor Branches (525 N. Mt. Vernon) are open Monday and Tuesday, 3 pm to 8 pm and Wednesday and Thursday, 10 am to 3 pm. Both are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Inghram Branch (1505 W. Highland Ave) is open Tuesday through Friday, 2 pm to 6 pm and Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm. Inghram is closed on Sunday and Monday.
Various online services are available to SBPL library cardholders via the library’s website at www.sbpl.org . Patrons can renew books, place holds, check out eBooks and audiobooks from Overdrive, as well as, access a wide variety of subscription databases offering different types of information.
