The Dorothy Inghram Branch of the City of San Bernardino Public Library will be closed starting Saturday, Aug. 28 for re-carpeting with a scheduled re-opening date of Tuesday, Sept 7th.
The Inghram Branch, at 1505 W. Highland Ave., is library space the city rents at the New Hope Family Life Center, which is owned by the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
“New Hope replacing the carpet at Inghram is yet another example of it being a great partner with SBPL for many years in supporting the educational importance of a public library in our community, especially on the city’s Westside,” said SBPL Library Director Ed Erjavek. “If there’s any community that can benefit from the value of a free public library, it is San Bernardino.”
Patrons are reminded that they can also receive service at the three other libraries in the City Library system:
• Feldheym Central Library at 555 W. Sixth St., hours are Monday – Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 1 to 6 p.m.
• Rowe Branch at 108 E. Marshall Blvd., hours are Monday and Tuesday 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Villaseñor Branch at 525 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., hours are Monday and Tuesday 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
