Prostitution Program Results in the Arrest of 9

DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT:  

During the evening hours of 10-27-11, the San Bernardino Police Department Vice unit conducted a citywide anti-prostitution program targeting those seeking to solicit females in violation of PC 647(b). The program resulted in the arrest of the following subjects for soliciting females for the purpose of prostitution:

1. Urena, Martin, age 30 of Fontana, Ca - Pc 647(b)

2. Reza-Lopez, Mario age 47, of Laredo, Tx - Pc 647(b)

3. Gutierrez-Garcia, Librado age 27, of San Bernardino, Ca - Pc 647(b)

4. Uzcanga, Jose, age 32 of San Bernardino, Ca - Pc 647(b)

5. Vasquez, Eliseo, age 26 of Riverside, Ca - Pc 647(b)

6. Silva, Erick, age 20, of San Bernardino, Ca - Pc 647(b)

7. Rojas-Perez, Erik, age 22 of San Bernardino, Ca - Pc 647(b)

8. Flores, Arturo, age 25 of San Bernardino, Ca - Pc 647(b)

9. Toscano, Kennedy, age 27 of San Bernardino, Ca - Pc 647(b)

Each of the above subjects was issued a citation to appear in court for the aforementioned charges and released. One additional subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine (HS 11377) and lodged in county jail. 

This program is one of an ongoing series of programs to substantially reduce the incidence of prostitution related activities within the city of San Bernardino.
