The City of San Bernardino Draft 2021-2029 Housing Element was sent to HCD on August 4, 2023, for review. On October 2, 2023, the City received HCD’s 1st comment letter.
In response to the comment letter dated October 2, 2023, from the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), the City has made revisions to the Draft 2021-2029 Housing Element. State law requires that the revisions to the Housing Element be posted and available for public comment for 7 days before submitting to HCD for a formal review. Public comments will be accepted on the revised Draft Housing Element from Tuesday, November 14, 2023 through Monday, November 20, 2023.
