National Library Week April to 9

The Feldheym Central Library will have a series of displays in celebration of National Library Week. In the young adult section, we will have a staff picks display which will include sticky notes from staff recommending their favorite books. In addition, we will have a “Get to Know the Library Team” including staff-drawn portraits and mini fun facts for patrons to read and enjoy. In the children’s room, we will have a book face display where patrons can take funny pictures (this will be more of an interactive/photo op display). During library week, Easter eggs will also be hidden throughout the library with library challenges/fun facts. Rowe Library will have a staff display as well.

Citizenship Classes Resume Monday, April 4

Resuming every Monday from 1-2 p.m., the Jack L Hill Lifelong Learning Center in Feldheym will be offering Citizenship Classes in English. Students will learn the basics of the citizenship process and go through questions that may be on the Naturalization Test in this eight-week long session. Classes are limited to the first 20 applicants. First-time registration and in-take are required to attend. Additional free resources are available for those who register.
