Weekend Closures of the 210 Freeway

Set to Begin Friday, March 3

 

The San Bernardino County Transportation Agency (SBCTA) has announced a series of six directional, 55-hour freeway closures on SR 210 as part of the SR 210 Lane Addition and Base Line Interchange Project will start on Friday, March 3. These closures are currently scheduled be taken one direction at a time over six of the next eight weekends, weather permitting. The closures will allow crews to safely perform paving operations on EB and WB SR 210 at the on and off-ramp junctures of the San Bernardino Avenue interchange. 


The directional closures will take place during weekends from Friday at 10:00 p.m. to Monday at 5:00 a.m. and are expected to be scheduled for the following dates*: 

  • Friday, February 24 through Monday, February 27 (WB) CANCELED
  • Friday, March 3 through Monday, March 6 (WB)
  • Friday, March 10 through Monday, March 13 (WB) 
  • Friday, March 24 through Monday, March 27 (WB)
  • Friday, April 14 through Monday, April 17 (EB)
  • Friday, April 21 through Monday, April 24 (EB)
  • Friday, April 28 through Monday, May 1 (EB) NEW DATE

 

The first of six directional 55-hour freeway closures on SR 210 will begin on Friday, March 3 at 10:00 p.m. to Monday, March 6 at 5:00 a.m. The west bound SR 210 will be closed from the I-10 connectors to 5th Street/Greenspot Road.


Drivers will not have access to the following routes:

  • WB SR 210 from the I-10 connectors to 5th Street/Greenspot Road
  • Eastbound (EB) I-10 connector to WB SR 210
  • WB I-10 connector to WB SR 210
  • EB San Bernardino Avenue on- and off-ramps
