Startup Programs:
1.     SBDC Start starts February 2 at 10 a.m.
2.    MADE starts March 2 at noon
  • A six-week hybrid (ONLINE & IN-PERSON) training program aimed at small, product-based businesses.

3.    Beauty Boss starts March 16 at 10 a.m.
  • The purpose of this program is to help you explore options towards starting and owning your own beauty business. This program is offered in partnership with The Salon Spot Beauty Rental.

4.    Mi Negocio, Mi Futuro starts March 2 at 3 p.m. – Spanish-speaking program
  • This six-week program will educate aspiring entrepreneurs on the topics of licensing and permits, market research, strategic planning, digital marketing, social media platforms, funding sources, financial projections, accounting systems, and access to capital for their new business! Attendees will also have the opportunity to schedule a virtual, individual and personalized consultation with a commercial consultant to discuss information adapted to your business. One requirement is that you attend each of the training sessions. This program will be delivered in Spanish only.

Resources for Black-Owned Businesses
To help showcase Black-owned businesses this holiday season, Google launched the Black-owned business resource hub. The page focuses on how to capture consumer demand by identifying as Black-owned online and offers resources to prepare for the holidays.

Route 66 Corridor Preservation Program Opportunity
The program provides cost-share grants for the preservation of the most significant and representative building, structures, road segments, and cultural landscapes along the length of the Route 66 corridor.
